Biometric Signature Verification

Combined Verification of Static Signature Characteristics and Dynamic Signature Signals

SOFTPRO's unique signature combo-verification compares both the static image characteristics and dynamic signals to a known reference signature.
  • Data of captured signatures from a current process may be verified against stored reference data from a respository - like SignArchive
  • The verification automatically takes into account the natural variations in the signer's signature characteristics so that the capture and verification is effective in any situation. If the character set is not within a certain tolerance level, the signature has highly likely been forged.
  • The acceptance level for signature verification may be adjusted according to individual application scenarios - for example environmental influences like different positions for signing at the time of intial capturing for a reference and when signing again at a later stage.
  • In the absence of dynamic signature parameters, static features may be used for comparison. Static automatic signature verification is use since the mid 90's in financial institutions worldwide. This allows smooth transition from the paper to the electronic world.
  • For visualization of verification aspects SOFTPRO provides the optional tool SignAlyze.
Biometric Signature Verification can be executed when combining the verification engine in Software Development Kit (SDK) - SignWare
and the reference data from the
Biometric Data Repository - SignArchive
