The app was voted as the most popular of the 48 entries in the contest of Samsung Telecommunications America, the No. 1 mobile phone provider in the United States. The goal of this challenge was to identify apps that make use of the Samsung Galaxy Note's S Pen in unique ways. According to Dale Sohn, president of Samsung Mobile, the results exceeded expectations both in terms of quantity and quality.

The professional jury selected a game that makes it fun to learn to learn Chinese as Best Overall App: “Monkey Write * Learn Chinese” by by Chiu-ki Chan of Square Island LLC. Another game - “Maze Racer” by Roger Peters and David McCanless of SmartyPantsGaming - won the second prize. The mobile art studio “Drawing Pad” by Christopher Lott and Daren Murtha of Murtha Design finsihed Third in the voting of the professional jury. Ten apps received honorable mention awards in the categories games, media, sports, social, lifestyle, travel, education, productivity, entertainment, productivity and other. The jury consisted of Phil Nickinson (Editor of AndroidCentral.com), Andy Wilson (VP of Consumer Marketing, AT&T), Jeff Tannenbaum (Investment Principal, BlueRun Ventures), Baudouin Corman (VP Publishing Americas, Gameloft) and Kevin Packingham (SVP Product Innovation, Samsung Telecommunication America).
