The Bundesdruckerei recommends that German local authorities use some selected devices for qualified signature capturing only. The Bundesdruckerei is the company that produces Germany’s eID card (“neuer Personalausweis”), passports, and other identity documents.     After extensive research we decided to choose the SignPad eSignio in conjunction with the Softpro's software SignDoc. TÜV confirms Secure Signing on SignPad eSignio

TÜV Saarland, a member of the German Technical Inspection Association Group (Technischer Überwachungs-Verein, TÜV) confirms the easy and safe operation of SignDoc Desktop in conjunction with the signature tablet SignPad eSignio. The experts agree that users can be confident that the documents signed at a SignPad and stored in SignDoc be complete, detailed and processed in a secure manner.

The Electronic Signature - and the document associated with it - are protected against manipulation attempts and fundamental transmission errors have been systematically excluded.

tekit Consult Bonn GmbH is the organisation which executes tests for the approval of the TÜV as "Approved Software" http://www.tekit.de

For processes requiring enhanced security SignPad Color and SignPad eSignio are available also with encryption. This additional security feature is to completely exclude the unlikely possibility that communication between SignPad and the computer running SignDoc software can be eavesdropped.
