INTER Insurance Group agents sign on iPads with SOFTPRO SignDoc Mobile

Since December 2011 sales agents of INTER Insurance Group enjoy the benefits of E-Signing on iPad.

INTER Insurance Group started to equip their employees with iPads in 2011. INTER was one of the first insurance companies in the world to recognize the potential of the iPad for business use and equipping sales staff with tablet. iPads are used for presentations in counseling sessions explaining products and services of INTER customer friendly and highly efficient. 

SignDoc Mobile is an extension of SignDoc Web, the E-Signing platform. SignDoc Mobile enables the displaying, filling and signing of documents on tablets on the go.

Various policy forms such as the application for life insurance and the customer consultation protocol (according to EU legislation) are among the documents signed. INTER Insurance Group benefits of a complete electronic workflow thanks to a signing ceremony which closes the deal at the point of sale.

The App of INTER is distributed exclusively to employees via Apple enterprise distribution.

The App is self-explaining to install, operate and update. Documents requiring signatures are encoded and retrieved by SignDoc Web Server from the INTER system.

  • Only the data needed for the signing process are retrieved from the system at the time of signing which explains why SignDoc Mobile performs great in the mobile web too - even where web access is limited as the only connection available is via EDGE
  • The document is decoded and rendered as image in SignDoc Mobile hence the amount of data transferred is minimized while the quality of the display on the tablet is optimized
  • The document itself remains in the secure server environment of the INTER system until its finalization an secured communication via Transport Layer Security (TLS)
