SOFTPRO partner komm.IT integrated E-Signing in its modern urban car licensing program OK.VORFAHRT

OK.VORFAHRT supports the comprehensive, user-friendly editing of all future proceedings in a vehicle registration authority. Authorities automate many routine tasks and citizens benefit from the smooth processing of their requests.

kommIT has integrated an interface to support selected signature tablets in the module OK.WAY which is part OK.VORFAHRT. Citizen service bureaus may select between the DESKO Tablet Kiosk and the SignPad Color (Wacom STU-520), the SignPad (Wacom STU-500) and the SignPad Compact (Wacom STU-300). In addition to the hardware the software for electronic signing SignDoc of SOFTPRO was integrated in the solution.

Scanning of documents is no longer required as the integrated card reader of DESKO Tablet Kiosk allows to capture personal data may be extracted from the machine readable area of the ID card and automatically import into OK.VORFAHRT. Users of a civil registration system (like OK.EWO or BayBIS) may benefit from a data import. The user does no longer require to type in details about the holder or is bank account.

Where this feature is not required SignPads allow to go paperless in a very cost-effective way. Whether authorities choose a Tablet Kiosk or a SignOad - in both cases they are able to lower their printing costs as citizens sign electronically on the display.
