Your responsibilities

As an important member of our dynamic software development team you will play an active role throughout the product development process, including definition, architecture, coding, testing and documentation. You will be part of a team that reports to software architects in Germany.

Your Profile

You have successfully completed a university degree in computer science, or equivalent education, and have extensive experience in the complete software development process. Analytical thinking, high quality standards and a willingness to learn complex systems are a given.

You demonstrate excellent team and communication skills and possess a high level of commitment and flexibility.

You have a proven ability to work independently, and excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) complete your profile.

We expect candidates to bring a high degree of creativity to our team and a willingness to create software solutions that both impress and delight our customers.

You have the following technical know-how prerequisites:

  • Strong knowledge of Object–oriented Software development and design patterns
  • In-depth knowledge, and at least 3 years experience programming commercial applications in Java or C++ programming languages
  • JAVA JNI, Javascript, C++ and QT GWT
  • Database programming skills and knowledge of at least one of the following DBMS: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server
  • Experience J2EE Web application development and strong knowledge of both Apache Tomcat and IBM Websphere Web Application containers
  • Experience with Web Services both in the definition and usage
  • Experience in developing applications for iOS or Google Android OS
  • Experience in developing Setup programs using Install shield
  • Experience having worked with a German company is a plus
  • Team leadership skills are a plus
